The new motorway interchange is already in place giving Whitburn two access points directly to the M8 providing excellent commuting links to both Glasgow and Edinburgh. Whitburn is made up of the areas of East Whitburn, Blaeberryhill, Polkemment and West Whitburn and is surrounded by Longridge, Harthill and Armadale. The local town offers a range of independent shops, banks, financial services, dentist’s, doctor surgery, pre-school nurseries, primary schools and a high school as well as restaurants, bars and takeaways with Polkemmet Country Park on the doorstep for outdoor activities.
